D Decoupling C Capacitors T Audio Line Driver req The quires adequ uate power supply s decou upling to enssure that the e noise and total t harmon nic d distortion (TH HD) are low. A good low equivalent-se e eries-resistance (ESR) ceramic c capa acitor, typically 1μF, place ed a close as possible to the as e device VDD D lead workss best. Placin ng this decou upling capaciitor close to the t Audio Lin ne D Driver is important for the performan nce of the am mplifier. For filtering lowe er-frequencyy noise signa als, a 10μF or o g greater capaccitor placed near n the audio power amplifier would also help, bu ut it is not req quired in mos st application ns b because of th he high PSRR R of this devvice. P Pop-Free Po ower-Up P Pop-free pow wer up is ensured by keep ping the EN (enable pin) low during power-supply p y ramp up an nd ramp down.
